A2 Still Image - Digipak and Magazine Advert
These images are those that I have taken and produced to support the music video that I have edited.

Front Cover
This is the front cover of what is going to be my CD case. I have the same effect that is seen in the music video as I wanted to keep up conventions by having a brand identity that is noticeable. I also used a unique typography throughout the digipak to again present this idea of the band having their own brand identity. I used a colour match for the album name to give continuity between the background and the album name. I added a drop shadow to both of the typographies to make it more visual and stand out against the background.

Inside Cover
This is the inside cover of my digipak. I thought that his would be a nice effect as it seems to be the same photo. This is not the same photo but I wanted to show that I have taken multiple shots. I was going to add the same psychedelic effect but I thought that this would be overpowering. The brand identity is followed through the model being the same as her hair is unique and recognisable.

Inside Cover
The inside right cover will be behind the CD itself. I followed the brand identity through using the hallucinatory visuals and also the same typography and colour on the front cover. Around the outside I have written the main copyright and other bits that are conventional in digipaks.
|
Back Cover
The back cover is slightly larger than the other dimensions as it has to fit into the back cover of the jewel case. Also I have the spines on both sides of the cover. This is conventional in digipaks because of when on a shelf it is easy to spot and chose the album. I have copied the title directly from the front cover to follow the brand identity and in-house theme. The background is a screenshot form the iTunes visualiser. I have made up 10 song names which is average for an indie band because there is not too many songs that it is overpowering but there is enough so that it does not look too minimal and bare. I added a barcode and copyright text as well as the record label to follow conventions for a back cover on a digipak.

Magazine Advert
This is the advert for the new album 'Tainted Eternity'. As can be seen it has the lights as the photo. I dragged the brand name and album title from the front cover to make sure it was exactly the same typography and colour to follow the brand identity. I have used the same font for the date and all the other information included on the advert. i have shown that it is available on different platforms and also it can be bought from iTunes. There is a website link on the bottom too so people can read more about the band on this. Also there is the record label in the bottom right corner to follow codes and conventions of magazine adverts.
